Diocesan President Commissioning

Vivien Ley was commissioned as Diocesan President of Chester Diocese this morning. She is pictured at the end of the service with Barbara Tayor (Provincial President) and is followed by her Assistant Priest from Christchurch, Willaston, Revd Lyndon Bannon "Christ be our light" sung by Macclesfield Community Choir in Chester Cathedral to begin the Commissioning of Viv Ley and her trustees. Bishop Keith encouraged members to grow, reflecting on his visit to Aru, DRC for 10th anniversary celebrations. (Mothers' Union has grown from 19000 to 42000 in those 10 years.) Above all encouraged us to remember that "Yahweh reigns"
