Great Budworth Deanery Festival service was held on 15th April 2013 at Christ Church, Barnton. Mrs Beryl Dickens was commissioned as Deanery Leader. At the service the new Great Budworth Deanery Banner was blessed.

Alec Brown, Rural Dean; Pauline Buckthorpe, retiring Deanery Leader; Revd Paul Newman, preacher and rector at Christ Church Barnton. Our Prayer Partners from St Chad, Over in Middlewich also joined us at the service. Members enjoyed refreshments after the service.

Mrs Audrey Taylor received a Long Service Certificate from our Chaplain Revd. James Ambrose commemorating 60 Years as a Mothers’ Union member. Audrey is a member of the St. Mary’s, Lymm Branch. She joined Mothers’ Union on 1st April 1953. The certificate was awarded at a recent Branch meeting when James came to speak to the Lymm members.
